Lift Recorder — Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Bálint Neuhausz (Hungary) ("we", "us") for your use of the Lift Recorder Android app (the "App"). By installing or using the App you agree to them; if you do not agree, do not use the App. Business details are in the Imprint.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on devices you control. You may not sell, rent, reverse-engineer, or redistribute it, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law. Your use is also subject to Google Play's Terms of Service.
2. Your recordings
The videos you record are yours and stay on your device — we never receive, access, or upload them. You are responsible for what you film, for any consent needed from people who appear in your videos, and for backing them up; we are not responsible for recordings lost through device failure or deletion.
3. Ads and the "Remove ads" purchase
The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob (see the Privacy Policy). The one-time "Remove ads" purchase disables them. All purchases are processed and billed by Google Play, not by us, and are non-refundable except as required by law or by Google Play's refund policies.
4. Disclaimer and liability
The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law — we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every recording will succeed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for lost recordings. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
5. Changes
We may update or discontinue the App, or update these terms; the current version is always the one on this page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
